My highest priority is to please my Lord Jesus in everything I do and create.
I am Kristen Creecy, 34 years old, and a native of Minnesota but after needing a change from the cold winters, I decided to make that bold move to Tennessee after graduating college where I began working in the mortgage industry. Then, I took another move over to Colorado Springs, Colorado, and finally feel at home. I created a home with the Holy Spirit from the bottom up, literally. It was a hard journey filled with many mistakes and setbacks, but I thank God daily for never giving up on me.
Unashamed follower of Jesus Christ, who was the One who had rescued me from the pit and still does today. I will always be grateful.
I started my artful journey as a young kid drawing doodles like any other kid but then loving art classes during high school. Due to anxiety and perfectionism taking over, these didn’t go much further afterward. I also helped backstage with two musicals in high school – Beauty and the Beast and Annie.
I was awakened back to art and creativity through an invitation to be a background extra for season 5 of the popular show The Chosen. That experience has shown me just how much that I had missed being in the creative environment and being surrounded by like-minded people. This was the start of a journey that I was getting myself back into the creativity world after many years away.
